Meet Jennifer DeVerney, Internship and Employer Outreach Specialist at Herzing University Online and member of the Ottawa Tribe

My name is Jennifer DeVerney and I work at Herzing University as an Internship and Employer Outreach Specialist with the Department of Career Services and a proud member of the Ottawa Tribe. On behalf of Herzing University I thank you for your interest in our programs and school. As both a staff and tribal member, it is exciting for me to see efforts being put forth by Herzing University to service and support Native American Education.

My own career started out by earning an Associate of Science Degree in Marketing Management at the local technical college while utilizing tribal educational benefits to support my educational journey. I am now pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Herzing University and will graduate in 2011. Prior to working with the Career Services Department, I worked in the Admissions Department as an Admissions Advisor. During this time I helped many tribal members seek out and secure tribal funding for their education. Earning a quality education and launching great careers is what we’re all about at Herzing.
