Career Services raises $500 to support the Team in Training Program

Herzing University Online's Career Services Department fundraises for Herzing Alumna's participation in Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program.

Herzing University Online graduate Aimee Siegler set a goal of raising $4,000 for her Team in Training efforts. Participating in honor of her father who lost his battle with leukemia in 2006, Siegler set out to complete a triathlon including a .4 mile swim, a 15 mile bike ride and a 3 mile run. In an effort to reach her fundraising goal, Ms. Siegler called upon her many contacts including her alma mater, Herzing University Online.

The Career Services staff at Herzing Online developed a number of fundraising events and ultimately raised $500 to propel Siegler towards the finish line. Events surrounding the fundraising events included a pizza by the slice sale and a bake sale.
