Herzing Programs Receive ABHES Approval
After thorough review and evaluation of the Herzing University Online Medical Assisting diploma and associate of science degree programs, the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) has awarded these programs their approval for accreditation through the organization. As a result of this prestigious accreditation, graduates of the Herzing Online Medical Assisting programs are eligible to sit for the Certified Medical Assistant certification exam offered through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) and the Registered Medical Assistant exam given by the American Medical Technologists association (AMT) upon graduation.
Herzing took great pains to design curriculums that provide students with the academic knowledge and real-world skills practice required for medical assisting careers. Herzing Online students not only receive comprehensive medical lab kits to practice clinical duties on their own, they also work directly with medical and nursing professionals in the field to receive feedback and evaluation of their skills.
