Indian Ed Convention Starts Tomorrow

Just one day and counting until the opening of the 40th Annual National Indian Education Association Convention. This year’s convention will be held at the Midwest Airlines Center in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Herzing University will play a big part of the days’ events.

Did you know that the Indian Community School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will host a Culture Night during the convention? Check out a slide show at http://bit.ly/13yHa3. The school is beautiful and full of rich heritage, culture and spiritual artifacts from all the Natives Tribes around Wisconsin. Herzing University Online has been invited to attend and is very excited to be a part of such an event.

When at the convention in Milwaukee, don't forget your cultural clothing! Every year, the NIEA will host the Pow Wow on the Friday of our convention. This year, we will join forces with the 5th Annual Forest County Potawotami Hunting Moon Pow Wow. Shuttles will be provided! See you there!
