New Dean named to head Herzing University Online’s Graduate Studies Program

Herzing University Online recently named Dr. Craig Boswell as Graduate Academic Dean. Dr. Boswell earned his doctorate degree in Psychology from Utah State University and has held several prestigious academic positions in both the United States and abroad.

“We are very excited to have Dr. Boswell on board focusing on program expansion and enhanced quality of our graduate offerings,” Online Campus President, Dr. Todd Rickel stated. “With Craig’s academic background and commitment to student-centered education, we look forward to building even stronger graduate programs in the years to come.”

Over the past two months, Dr. Boswell has been directing the Herzing University Graduate Department to build additional graduate program concentrations to be offered to future students. Dr. Boswell feels “the overall graduate program is designed to prepare adult learners to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and address topics that are broad and complex in today’s global society.”

To help better prepare graduate students, he has also been diligently working to expand the already existing faculty team to support Herzing Online’s ever-increasing student growth. “I feel privileged to lead a team of accomplished faculty and business professionals as are found at Herzing,” expressed Boswell. “Providing education that is relevant and timely in a fast-paced world is what separates good programs from great programs.”
