Herzing University Online’s Career Service professionals are experts at coaching students on how to network with employers in all regions of the USA. This coaching not only helps students and graduates gain initial employment, it is also very useful when students or alumni relocate and must find a new job in an unfamiliar area.

In addition to career help, Career Services offers the following programs in order to foster the professional and personal development of Herzing students:

• TEAM Connection
  The mission of TEAM (The Employment and Mentor) Connection is to create a specialized professional development and support network for current students consisting of peers, industry professionals, and Herzing University staff to enhance the educational experience. Through active communication and encouragement, the career-focused mentor forum integrates professional, educational and social aspects of higher education to create a comprehensive environment for the personal development of online learners.
• Social Responsibility Circle
  The Social Responsibility Circle promotes student involvement within their local community. This program provides students with volunteer opportunities in their area and recognizes those students who make contributions of their time and talents for charitable service.

Student Advising

Every student attending the Herzing University Online Campus works with a Student Services Specialist whose sole responsibility is to help him/her be the best student possible in order to properly prepare for an exciting career. The Student Services Specialist is the first point of contact for any issues or problems that interfere with the student’s ability to be successful in school, and is ready to counsel on educational and personal issues such as:

• University services
• Academic preparation
• Attendance and participation guidelines
• Time management strategies
• Personal issues
• Disability accommodation
• Stress/anxiety
• Course test-out exams and exemption credits

Registrar’s Office and Course Scheduling

Students attend Herzing University Online to get trained for a career. To help our students transition into a career as quickly as possible, the Registrar’s Office completes a schedule for the entire program of study as soon as a student is accepted, ensuring each student gets the courses required in order to graduate on time. In addition, the Registrars may be able to create a custom schedule based on a student’s desire to carry a lighter course load, or to speed up a program in order to graduate as soon as possible (for example, complete a Bachelor's Degree in 3 years).

Library Services

Herzing University Online students have convenient access to thousands of titles through our Online Library. Whether looking for a newspaper or magazine article, book, video or audio file, TV/radio broadcast transcript, or reference book, Online students have a wealth of resources right at their fingertips.

The library is accessible 24/7 with any internet connection, and our librarians are available for personal research assistance during regular business hours and by email.
